Overview

While the Vitamix Classic Series 5200 continues to dominate the performance blender market, the Vitamix 7500 is the next evolution in high speed blenders. Built on the proven quality of the 5200, the 7500 takes home blending to a new level. Still made in the USA, like any previous Vitamix blender model you can take advantage of its awesome power to take care of most any kitchen food processing task such as making smoothies, nut butters, nut milks, puddings, purees, frozen desserts, hot soups, salsas, sauces, and more. But now, with the new improved design and engineering you can do it quieter and more efficiently.

Vitamix 7500 Performance Review

We have come to trust the power and durability of Vitamix blenders. The Vitamix 7500 introduces an re-engineered 2.2 peak horsepower motor with some very welcomed improvements. Primarily, this is a quieter power blender. Vitamix reviews have reported that the motor runs 40% quieter than previous models. This is a huge improvement. We found this blender to run as quiet as most other “normal” kitchen blenders and with noticeably less noise than every other high-powered blender reviewed.

The 12amp motor runs at speeds over 270 mph. Clearly there is no issue here in quickly creating a powerful blending vortex capable of breaking down plant cell walls releasing more usable nutrition into your blends. Now the radial cooling fan runs continuously with enhanced airflow management to help keep the noise level down while consistently cooling the motor. A cooler motor means longer blending time capability and a longer lasting motor.

The last performance improvement to note is that the popular variable speed control is now more precise and like the Vitamix Professional blenders, the dial control includes the full range of power. There is no longer a a switch needed to jump to maximum power with the Vitamix 7500.

Controls

The simplicity of control that Vitamix is known for is retained in the Vitamix 7500. All the versatility and control is easily managed with 3 components. One switch to Start and Stop, a second Pulse switch and the ever famous variable speed control dial. Unlike most any blender on the market today, you have precise control over the exact speed the blender runs at your fingertips. With the newly added Pulse function you have additional flexibility and precision as you are able to pulse at any speed for whatever duration you wish.

Like all other modern models, the Vitamix 7500 comes with the patented tamper. The tamper fits through the top of the container allowing you to process large ingredients, thick blends and smaller volumes while blending. This is a unique feature found on few other blender brands.

Low Profile Container

Arguably the greatest improvement found in this next generation Vitamix is the re-designed 64 oz. low-profile container. Like other modern Vitamix containers, it is BPA-Free and rated to be used at its full 64-ounce capacity. While the previous 64 oz. containers were nearly 13.5 inches tall, owners were not able to keep their blender on their counter top because the container was too tall to fit under kitchen cabinets. At only ~10 inches the new Vitamix 7500 container is stout enough so that the blender can easily be stored under most kitchen cabinets.

As if the shorter design of the container were not enough to win us over, it also results in a wider base. A wider base means the container is easier to clean. More importantly is also means that the laser-cut, stainless-steel hammermill blades are an inch wider than before and now measure 4 inches in diameter. This results in improved control in your blending as well as greater efficiency.

If you happen to own any other modern Vitamix containers such as the dry grains container or previous standard 32-ounce, 48-ounce, 64-ounce containers, they can still be used with the Vitamix 7500.
