Blendtec Designer Series

Overview

Blendtec introduced the first Designer Series WildSide blender in 2011 which was only available direct from Blendtec.com in one option – WildSide in Champagne Metallic. Now the Designer Series is available with more options. You can choose from 3 colors, Black, Red and Cream. You can also have it your way and order it in the package you want, FourSide, WildSide, or the Combo. Being the first blender to offer a touch screen control system, the new design has become a model for high-end blenders.

Power and Performance

The Blendtec Designer Series blenders are very powerful machines that can blend most everything. With their 1560 watt, 13 amp motor, tasks such as making whole juice, smoothies, ice-cream, hot soups, mixed drinks and more are easily taken care of. Improved engineering has resulted in a quieter and cooler running motor still capable of breaking through plant cell walls to release nutrition.

Controls and Design

At first look, it is immediately apparent that the Designer Series is different than all the other blenders. The entire control panel is a Capacitive Touch User Interface. This is what has become popular for smart phones such as the Apple i-Phone. When power is off you only see a sleek black surface. Once powered on, the control pad becomes illuminated with control icons to select among the 6 program cycles as well as a slider to control the blender’s speed with the simple touch of your finger-tip.

As with the Blendtec Total Blender Series, the Designer Series comes with Smart-Touch Tec-nology to allow you to push an icon to have the blender go through a programmed blend cycle. That way your recipe comes out perfect every time. With all the changes, one popular feature remains in tact. The low profile is retained. The blender is only 15 inches tall and can fit under your kitchen cabinet and stay on the counter.

Blendtec Containers

The Blendtec Designer Series is available in all 3 popular packages. So you have your choice of purchasing with the standard FourSide Jar or the popular WildSide Jar or you can choose both Jars with the Combo package. All Jars that have been made for any Blendtec Home blenders will also fit, including the very popular Blendtec Twister Jar.
